My most vivid childhood memories are those of my sister and I spending the weekend making home movies and directing living room fashion shoots, building cubby houses in the backyard, sprinklers under the trampoline, exploring our neighbours paddocks or dads record player turned up as loud as possible while we all danced around the lounge room. Wonderfully ordinary memories I'd give anything to step back into for a day...
I feel like that's why photography speaks to me, it allows you to transport back to those everyday memories that feel so special now..
Every time I pick up my camera I'm reminded that todays ordinary moments become tomorrows priceless memories.
